Solms-Laubach. Christian August Taler 1754-IMF MS63 NGC, Nürnberg mint, KM25, Dav-2781. Struck to commemorate the death of Dorothea Wilhelmina, the Count's third wife. A supremely attractive design embellishes this radiantly iridescent Thaler that presents gentle hues of teal, lemon, and carnation atop a violet backdrop. A planchet defect at 7:00 on the obverse is noted for completeness.
