Lionel Prewar O Ga. Unusual Version Red 97E Pass Set w/251E 710 710 712 Boxed

Lionel prewar O gauge unusual version of a red 97E passenger set, circa 1929-30 in individual OBs and set box. This version has been seen occasionally with the same contents and is listed in the 1929 Lionel pocket edition catalog. It is also mentioned in Dave McEntarfers Prewar Set book on page 154. The set contains the following; 251E electric loco with ivory inserts and red lettered brass plates, two 710 Pullmans, 712 observation, 81 rheostat, an 068 pea green crossing sign with black lettered brass plates and 1929 Lionel Pocket Edition catalog. The cars have ivory inserts, apple green doors and four-wheel trucks. The Pullmans have copper journals and the observation car has nickel journals. The set is C7-8. The individual OBs are clean and have most all flaps attached. The set box is complete with both labels fully intact.
