Henri Bergé; Emile Wirtz, 'Primevère' Vase, 1919, H. 20.5 cm. Executed by Daum Frères, Nancy. Cased glass, colorless, extensive orange, dark blue powder inclusions in the lower area, dark green, yellowish and pink colored enamel fusions (Vitrifications). Etched decoration with flowering primroses, the flowers as partial opal white overlays, finely worked in high cut with the wheel (Lamelles ciselées à la roue). Signed: DAUM NANCY, Cross of Lorraine (engraved)., Ricke/Schmitt, Gerda Koepff glass collection, Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf, Munich 1998, no. 120, with reproduction of the sample plate from the manufactory archive with registered form number 4100.
