NORTHEAST GAUL. Parisii. Mid 1st century BC. Stater (Subaeratus, 17 mm, 4.50 g, 9 h), a contemporary plated imitation of the 'à flan court' type. Celticized head to right. Rev. Celticized horse to left; above, fan-like checker-board design; below, rosette. Cf. DT 87 and LT 7790 (for prototype). Some breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
