1923-D $1 MS66 NGC. The luster on this coin is radiantly vibrant and frosty, showing untoned silver-white color that beautifully accentuates the sharp devices. A few faint luster grazes prevent an even finer grade but are hardly bothersome. The 1923-D Peace dollar is occasionally seen in this grade, but eye appeal similar to that of the current coin is scarce. Census: 49 in 66 (8 in 66+, 1 in 66★), 1 finer (6/23).
